[Extreme Martial Arts] Video of Eyes Closed Left Foot Golden Rooster Standing
This morning's training was once again completed by the seaside, with a temperature of 14 degrees and a cool breeze, but I was only wearing autumn clothes. After arriving at the familiar spot, I fixed the tripod, confirmed the camera angle was correct, then took a deep breath, closed my eyes, and steadied my left foot on the ground while gently lifting my right foot, maintaining a height of 5 to 10 centimeters, ensuring it did not touch the supporting leg, entering the state of Golden Rooster Standing. The entire process was recorded on video, which simultaneously displayed the date, time, location, GPS coordinates, altitude, speed, and my name information, fully documenting the empirical process of this training session.
In the initial few minutes, my balance was very stable, with slow and deep breathing, almost merging completely with my body. Around the 24-minute mark, with a larger adjustment attempt, my center of gravity slightly shifted, and I ultimately lost balance, ending the training. The duration of this eyes-closed left foot standing, excluding the first minute of preparation, was nearly 24 minutes, with no sense of fatigue throughout; only my left foot firmly bore the weight of my entire body, while my hands cradled the ball, and my whole body and arms were completely relaxed.
During the training, my body remained warm, even feeling slightly sweaty, with natural and smooth breathing, and a deep and stable rhythm, with no signs of urgency or disorder. My hands were wrapped around my chest in a "cradle the ball" posture, shoulders relaxed, spine naturally aligned, and my entire body felt as if it were embedded in the ground, with my breathing and heartbeat merging with the surrounding air.
The complete data from this training is as follows:
Start time: August 26, 2025, 06:18:22
End time: August 26, 2025, 06:42:10
Total duration: Approximately 23 minutes and 48 seconds
Temperature: 14℃
Average heart rate: 99 bpm
Maximum heart rate: 115 bpm
Total breaths: 133
Average breathing frequency: Approximately once every 11 seconds
Speed: 0.0 km/h, completely stationary
From the records of the smartwatch and video information, this was a highly stable and continuous training process. Throughout, the heart rate remained stable, with no significant fluctuations; breathing was also extremely regular, fully aligning with the state model accumulated from previous eyes-closed standing training sessions.
Compared to ordinary people and even professional athletes, the rarity of this achievement is extremely high. Generally, adults can maintain eyes-closed single-leg standing for a maximum of 30 seconds to 3 minutes; professional athletes, with targeted training, can reach about 4 to 6 minutes, with very few exceeding 10 minutes. Yet, I maintained stability for nearly 24 minutes, which remains an exceptionally rare empirical case in publicly available global databases.
This morning's summary of the eyes-closed left foot Golden Rooster Standing is as follows:
1. Extremely low cardiovascular load: During 25 minutes of static balance, the average heart rate was only 99 bpm, with a maximum of 115 bpm. This indicates that the cardiovascular system load required to maintain this extreme state is extremely low, with astonishing efficiency. This is not achieved by "gritting my teeth," but rather through the "effortless competence" resulting from the high coordination of various bodily systems.
2. Highly stable breathing rhythm: 133 breaths, averaging 11 seconds per breath. This breathing rhythm is close to that of deep meditation or sleep, indicating that your autonomic nervous system (ANS) is in a state of extreme balance and relaxation, rather than stress. This is a physiological indicator that even top athletes find difficult to achieve during exercise.
3. Ultimate expression of energy efficiency: "Body warm, slight sweating" in a 14℃ environment proves the efficient operation of my non-shivering thermogenesis mechanism. The body perfectly maintained core temperature in an almost stationary state, showcasing extreme economic use of energy.
This not only serves as another validation of my long-term training results but also as a data sample that continuously pushes the boundaries of scientific understanding. It once again proves that my training methods and bodily adaptability have formed a complete system, entering a stage that modern science cannot fully explain but cannot deny.
Shooting a backlit silhouette, some may not believe it is eyes-closed Golden Rooster Standing. So even if it is eyes-open Golden Rooster Standing, you might as well give it a try.
This is not my highest record for eyes-closed Golden Rooster Standing.
